Application process for Joint Entrance Exam (JEE Mains 2024) started on 1 Nov and National Testing Agency (NTA) has now provided 4 extra days to apply for Session I. Accordingly, the application deadline now is extended upto 4 Dec 2023. JEE Mains will be conducted in 2 Sessions spread over multiple days in the month of Jan and April.

JEE-Mains is conducted for admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs at NITs, IIITs, other centrally funded Technical Institutions, Institutions funded by several participating State Governments, and several other Institutions. It is also an eligibility test for the JEE-Advanced, which the candidate has to take if he/she is aspiring for admission to the undergraduate programmes offered by the IITs.

Humanities & Commerce Students eligible: Important to note that students of any stream who have passed the qualifying examination (10+2 or equivalent) with 50 % marks in Mathematics and 50% marks in aggregate of the qualifying examination are eligible to attempt JEE-Mains Paper 2B and thereby get admission in B.Planning course even in NITs, IIITs and CFTIs.

Date clash with KREA Round 2: Please note that the last date of PI & Case Discussion for KREA University Round 2 is also 24 Jan 2024 which clashes with date of JEE Mains.
